I wanted to thank you for the comment on the Pursuing A Balanced Life site. I agree, living simply is a process indeed. My wife and I did a series a while back called “De-cluttering Your Heart and Home” on our Family From The Heart Podcast. We could not agree with you more!

an interesting video, I note it took him a few years of refining his possessions to get to the point of living that way.

I think that it is important for people to remember that it is a gradual changing of habits that allows one to live simply. If the underlaying reasons why we accumulated and desired many possessions and large houses is not addressed then there can be no enjoyment or sustained happiness in living a more simplified life – it may seem like a hardship instead of a conscious choice
