I have started to explore the idea of mindfulness - the goal of which is to pursue a more balanced life by paying attention more to the people and things in your life, and living in the moment as much as you can. I can really get on board with this!

I'll hop on the bandwagon too!

I've been thinking about this change towards pursing a balanced life, and there is another word that describes this too, wisdom. In the Bible, wisdom is so much more than knowledge. It's the know-how about how to do life in God's world. I think that's exactly what you're doing. And the promises are many about blessings for those who seek wisdom.
I know you know the first two verses here, but savor what comes after:

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.
7 Be not wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
8 It will be healing to your flesh
and refreshment to your bones. (proverbs 3:5-8, ESV)

Actually, all of chapter 3 is filled with promises about wisdom. And thank you for teaching me and the others in our community.

God bless,
Amanda

Cliff, I think the use of the #PABL hashtag for related Twitter posts is a great idea. It will certainly tie into your recently rebranded Pursuing A Balanced Life podcast (formerly My Crazy Life).

I will continue to use #PABL in any Twitter post I make that's related to:
* My goals of better diet and exercise.
* My hopes of getting more rest and relaxation.
* And things that come up that may related to being more "balanced".

Thanks again for all that you do Cliff. I really feel that the Pursuing A Balanced Life podcast, #PABL hashtag, and the overall concept, will all help to inspire me to be more balanced myself. In addition, if the #PABL Twitter hashtag really catches on with the GSPN.tv Community, we can all inspire each other!
